Introduction

FANONI LLC ("Fanoni", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered electronic health record (EHR) platform and related services for healthcare practices. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our websites — fanoni.ai and our blog at blog.fanoni.ai — and your access to the Fanoni platform at ehr.fanoni.ai, including the patient portal.

By accessing or using any Fanoni service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a healthcare organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and the organization’s subscription agreement and Business Associate Agreement with Fanoni also apply. The platform publishes its own detailed terms and privacy notice at ehr.fanoni.ai/terms; if these Terms and that document conflict with respect to platform use, that document controls.

The services

Our services include: this website, which describes our products and lets practices contact us or start a subscription; our blog, which publishes product news and practice-operations guidance; and the Fanoni platform — clinical charting, scheduling, billing and revenue cycle, telehealth, prescriptions, laboratory, imaging, patient engagement, and AI-assisted documentation tools — built for use by licensed healthcare professionals and their staff.

Accounts and clinic signup

Practices can create a Fanoni account through our self-serve signup. When you create an account you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your organization.
  • Keep your credentials confidential and not share your account with others.
  • Ensure every user in your organization accesses the platform under their own named account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@fanoni.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Organization administrators are responsible for managing which staff members have access to their tenant and with what roles.

Healthcare disclaimer

Content on this website and blog is general information about our products and about practice operations. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a licensed clinician.

The Fanoni platform is a tool for licensed healthcare professionals. Clinicians retain full and sole responsibility for all diagnoses, treatment decisions, prescriptions, and other professional judgments. Fanoni does not practice medicine and does not provide medical services.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not use our websites, forms, or messaging channels for emergencies.

AI features

Parts of the platform use artificial intelligence to draft clinical notes, suggest codes, prepare documentation, and assist with administrative work. All AI output is a draft for professional review: a licensed clinician or qualified staff member must review, correct, and approve AI-generated content before it becomes part of the record or is acted on. The platform does not make autonomous clinical decisions.

HIPAA and protected health information

Fanoni handles Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state health privacy laws, and signs Business Associate Agreements with the covered entities we serve. PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and audit-logged, and we do not sell, rent, or trade PHI.

This marketing website is not designed to receive PHI. Please do not include patient information in website forms, demo requests, or blog comments; clinical data belongs in the platform, where these protections apply.

SMS messaging

If you affirmatively opt in through the Fanoni patient portal, Fanoni may send recurring automated appointment reminders and scheduling messages to the mobile number on your account. Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS messaging is not a condition of receiving care or using Fanoni services.

  • Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages at any time.
  • Reply HELP for help, contact your clinic, or email privacy@fanoni.ai.
  • Messages are administrative and do not include diagnosis, prescription, medication, or test-result details.
  • You may change your SMS preference in the Fanoni patient portal.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use SMS for emergencies; call 911 or your local emergency number.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, tenant, system, or data.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the services, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Scrape, harvest, resell, or redistribute content or data from the services without permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Intellectual property

The Fanoni name, logo, websites, platform, and all related content are owned by FANONI LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services as intended. Your organization retains all rights to the clinical records and data it stores in the platform.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The websites are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the websites will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FANONI LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the websites. Platform service levels, warranties, and liability terms for subscribing organizations are set out in their subscription agreements. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the services for breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or risk to the security of our systems or our customers’ data. Subscribing organizations’ termination rights and data-export rights are governed by their subscription agreements; clinical records remain subject to the retention obligations described in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute arising from these Terms lies in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for platform customers, notify affected users by email. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
