Introduction

FANONI LLC ("Fanoni", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our public websites — fanoni.ai and our blog at blog.fanoni.ai — how we use it, and the choices you have.

Clinical use of the Fanoni platform involves Protected Health Information and is governed by HIPAA, our Business Associate Agreements with healthcare organizations, and the platform notice at ehr.fanoni.ai/terms. This page covers the public websites.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you fill out a form on our website — to contact us, request a demo, apply for a role, or start a clinic signup — we collect what you submit: typically your name, work email address, phone number, organization, and your message. If you subscribe to our blog, we collect your email address to deliver new posts.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — used for security monitoring and reliability. We measure site usage with self-hosted, cookieless analytics (page views, referrers, and approximate region, with no cross-site tracking and no data shared with advertising networks). Our marketing website does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Protected health information

The public websites are not designed to receive Protected Health Information, and we ask you not to submit any patient information through them. PHI is processed only in the Fanoni platform, where it is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and audit-logged, and handling is governed by HIPAA and Business Associate Agreements. If you are a patient, your medical records are controlled by your healthcare provider — contact your practice to exercise your rights over them.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and demo requests.
  • To create and administer your organization’s account when you sign up.
  • To send you blog posts and product news you subscribed to — every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our websites.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Cookies

Our marketing site does not set advertising cookies. The blog uses first-party cookies where needed for its operation — for example, to keep a subscriber signed in. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; parts of the blog may not function without them.

When we share information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the websites and deliver email — for example, our cloud hosting and email-delivery infrastructure — under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing the service.
  • Authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fanoni, our customers, or the public.
  • A successor entity, if Fanoni is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred information.

SMS privacy

Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose mobile information only to service providers acting on our behalf as necessary to deliver, secure, monitor, and support the messaging program, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep website inquiries and marketing contact information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete it on request. Clinical records in the platform are retained for a minimum of 7 years from the date of service — or longer where state law requires — to comply with medical-records regulations; PHI can only be deleted under the limited circumstances HIPAA permits.

Security

Our websites are served exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Platform data is protected with TLS in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access control, audit logging, and incident-response procedures that comply with the HIPAA Breach Notification Rule.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you from our websites by emailing privacy@fanoni.ai. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, which we honor as applicable.

Patients: rights over your medical records — access, corrections, accounting of disclosures, and complaints to the HHS Office for Civil Rights — are described in the platform notice at ehr.fanoni.ai/terms and are best exercised through your healthcare provider.

Children’s privacy

Our websites are directed at healthcare professionals and practices, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through them. The platform may store health records for patients of any age when directed by an authorized healthcare provider.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify subscribers and platform customers by email. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
